Jason Forrest - War Photographer

Probably my favorite music video ever:

I love it because the animator makes manifest the narrative drive of the track, which has no lyrics on which to otherwise hang a narrative. It's so damn creative.

YouTube - House of Cosby 1

Enjoy it while you can:

I get sent links

Eh, so since this blog is turning into me posting YouTube videos, here are a couple i"ve had forwarded to me recently. First, George Washington:

Next, a video from Sparks:

If this is true

This post over at Pitchfork could be really good news. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is one of my favorite albums, and it'd be awesome to hear new music by Jeff Mangum. I once saw him in person, I think, during Black Arts Month, or something like that, at a free jazz concert at Emory University. Peter Brotzmann's group was playing, followed by Roscoe Mitchell, George Lewis, and Waddada Leo Smith playing LRG, one of the most abstruse compositions I've ever encountered.

Thanks for the links

Hey, thanks to Lee Eddy for linking to me via the SVT blog, and same to the ever awesome Jonathon Morgan, co-artistic director of Yellow Tape Construction Company.

This little ol' blog isn't really a theater blog, nor do I update frequently enough to have anything like a readership, but I appreciate anyone who's made it over here from either source. You folks are awesome.

Dinner for Two

Here's the little pilot thing that Chad put together for the contest FX is running. Apparently he jacked up the file and we're not really submitted to the contest. Oh well. Here it is for posterity anyway, so-so sound and all.
