This cartoon over at Black Commentator is pretty sweet. As a Democrat, I have to rememeber that for a long time my party was the racist party in America. Thank goodness LBJ, among all of his other flaws, ended that once and for all.

You know my favorite thing about arguing with republicans? When they tell me that "well, history says you should be a republican- the republican party has always had the best interests of minorities at heart. After all, Abe Lincoln was a republican".
I shit you not- i still hear this argument. Never mind that the dems and repubs basically switched platforms over time (as this cartoon so clearly demonstrates)AHHHHHHHHHH! People are so stupid sometimes!
